E-Ticket Cheaper, 56 New Train - Railway Budget 2011

Railway Minister Mamta Banarjee has presented the Railway Budget 2011 today in the Parliament. This Budget is designed from the point of view to attract the "Aam Aadmi" . List of some important announcement of this Railway Budget is given below:
  1. E-Ticket get cheaper by Rs. 10 for AC trains and for Non-AC it has been reduced to Rs.5
  2.  The concept of Super AC has been introduced
  3. Smart Card scheme would start to buy Railway Ticket
  4. There is proposal of starting 56 New trains
  5. 9 Duronto Trains, 3 Shatabdi Trains and 13 New Passanger Trains would start soon
  6. Rs.57,630 Crore has been proposed for annual programs
  7. There is no fare hike 
  8. Senior citizen who are females for them Mamta Banarjee has reduced the age to 58 years
  9. Concession if fares for PH passengers in Shatabdi Trains.
  10. Railway will build home under the Sukhi Grih Scheme.
  11. Railway has come up with exiting offer for those states, where there is less "Rail Roko" sort of procession.
  12. About 16 Thousand Ex Military Service Men would get jobs in Railway.
  13. Railway will give special facility to those Railway sportsperson who perform well on national and international level.
